The aim of the scheme is to work with individuals in their own home to
enable women to maintain independence, maximise potential and
assist in the sustaining of tenancies.
Floating support is needs led and temporary. Encouraging women to
stabilize their circumstances so that support can be withdrawn. The
floating support worker will offer both practical and emotional support.
This service offers assistance to residents of Oasis when they are re-housed.
The Outreach worker will assist women with obtaining furniture, setting up
gas, electricity and telephone accounts, housing benefit, filling in grant forms
and other general enquiries.
The outreach worker also offers short term support to any one who is
referred to Oasis.
